Our priority has always been the safety and health of all our patients, their families and our staff here at Ehrenman & Khan Pediatric Dentistry. With the recent U.S. News & World article, “Don’t Delay Dental Visits During Pandemic,” we would like to take this time to let all our patients, who haven’t seen us yet, know our new protocols since we re-opened back in June. While we understand that returning to the office can be overwhelming, we also have seen what can result in a disruption of consistent dental care from our office. According to the article, “It’s crucial for people to continue dental visits (because) untreated dental disease is only going to get worse. There’s a link between oral health and systemic health.“
The article goes on to say that there haven’t been any documented cases of patients being infected with COVID-19 during a dental visit.
